kwoodessex is on a distinguished road

Having lost quite a bit of weight, my advice is to set yourself smaller goals, i.e. a stone or half a stone at a time. I say things like "I want to lose 10 pounds before I go on holiday and then have so much time in which to hopefully lose that weight".

I've had my good days, bad days, good weeks and bad weeks. Pick yourself up on a bad day and try and start afresh the next day or when its times like say, Christmas or Easter, it might even be a week, but just remember that you can get back on track and if you feel positive, the weight will start to come off.

I used to walk struggling for breath, but i've just climbed the 12 flights up the stairs to our 6th floor office and not stopped on the way, so it shows how fit I am now. I started adding a bit more speed to my walking after a couple of stone and progressed the exercise from there (similar to the weight loss goals above).

Good luck all. You will feel so much better in the long run.
