Lifting a spoon full of chocolate ice cream. I used to play raquetball, and I liked that a lot.

I do not think I have ever played raquetball. I might have and I am just not remembering. I have played tennis many times before.

The real trick is finding an exercise that burns calories, but does not provide a negative impact effect on your joints. I happen to like the Nordic Track cross country ski machine. It is a solid workout, and it is quiet enough that you could watch the evening news (30 minutes) while getting in a workout. One rather large problem is that a lot of people have trouble with the athletic coordination that is required with this machine. An excellent device that accomplishes the same benefits, but is much easier to learn how to use properly is an elliptical machine. A good machine will cost $500 to $1,000 but if it is acctually used, not just stuck in a corner, it will actually result in some serious weight loss.

Hi, I cycle 5 miles 5 days a week then on alternate weeks i cycle to work 3 times a week( 20 miles a complete journey) and i play/train at ice hockey twice a week. i lost about 50 lbs over the last 18-20 months doing this and feel so much better.

I love DVD's - I can workout at home and on my own time. I particuarly love pilates and low impact cardio. Right now my two favs are:

The Method Pilates - Target Specifics: It targest Abs, Arms, Hips and Thighs, not too hard to do although there are a few moves I have to "cheat" - but I get a good workout and my heart rate goes up while I'm building lean muscle.

Denise Austin - Power Zone - The Ultimate Metabolism Boosting Workout: This one has a resistance band and while only 25 minutes of Cardio it is a cardio circuit meaning you strength train while doing the cardio. It is easy and you don't have to be too coordinated to do it - which is usually my downfall on cardio
