does alli absorb my vitamins?
I dont know, but I heard that it has side effects of absorbing vitamins like vitamin D, vitamin E, beta-carotene and other fat-soluble nutrients?
So yes, what have I to do? Do I have to swallow other pils so my vitamins will be up-level?

If you eat healthy foods that are low in fat, you will probably be fine. Eat vegtables and fruits. Eat salad. Just make sure to get as much vitamins and minerals as you can.

I just looked it up, and eating enough vitamin rich foods probably isn't enough. alli does absorb vitamins, so you need to take a multivitamin every night. I think you take them at night because you won't be taking alli then, so the vitamins will have a better chance to be absorbed.

I found the same information. I don't think you can get enough vitamins and minerals from food unless you have an extremely healthy diet. What most people get from their diet is enough to keep them from getting deficiency diseases, like ricketts and scurvy, but not enough for optimum health. And of course, no one on this forum has been eating a perfect diet, or we wouldn't need to lose weight.

The problem with taking a multivitamin is that the body will have trouble absorbing it. Even when not on Alli, the body cannot absorb all the vitamins in a tablet. The body needs to have you consume that vitamins gradually throughout the day, not all at once. When taking a vitamin, the body ends up peeing most of it out.

I actually think that vitamins are adjusted for that. They are dietary supplements, and aren't intended to provide all your vitamins. Most of them give you the minimum daily requirements, which isn't enough, and expect you to also get close to that many in your food.
They aren't all eliminated. There are some things you can overdo because they are fat soluble and are stored in your fat, and become available when you burn the fat. Maybe that's why alli depletes you vitamins, because you aren't storing them the way you used to. Or maybe it just combines with the ones that are in a fatty acid form. I think I read that somewhere.

Wow, I am learning a lot about the body and about fat storage in the body from Alli. If I ever lose all the weight I want, I should become a weight loss nutritionist expert myself!

I wish knowing a lot translated into doing a lot, but it doesn't seem to. I can sit down with a diet book and a big bowl of ice cream and not even notice the problem.

I think that it is important to take a supplement. I would also suggest taking omega 3-6-9 and recommend that you take the vitamins when you have a snack (meaning, when you are not taking an Alli dosage) which I think will provide the vitamins the maximum opportunity to absorb.
