Vanessa

I'm guessing what you are feeling is bloating (from gas) not constipation. For me its the main side-effect. If you stick within the diet guidelines it will work, I promise.

Unhappy

Not to be gross but i didnt have a bowel movement for 3 days and i usually have about 2 a day....I stopped taking alli and i am back to my "regular" self. I am still on a low fat diet but the thought of cheating on alli was very helpful because i didnt want an accident..???

Question What ever happened? did ya'll lose weight?

I have taken Alli also, but only sporatically. My sister-in-law uses them, and gave me a handful. I've taken them before some meals, and even for 3 days straight took two with lunch and dinner - also ate high-fat and calorie foods to see what would happen. never had BM for days. I actually started using them along with "Miracal" - which is an over-the-counter laxative that is a powder you mix in with drink. It works WONDERFULLY! Let me know how things are going with your Alli use...

Smile Are you going back to take Alli? I haven't started yet, and I am very apprehensive.

I have about 100 pounds to lose total, and having surgery doesn't appeal to me as I have many health related problems...Looking for someone to encourage me that this product is worth a shot? Anyone out there?

To Soscareditsnotworking

From my experience when you fiorst begin taking Alli you need to five it a few days......even up to a week to see results. This might be because there is some impaction in your colon and it takes a while for all the fat to be absorbed enough to send you to the bathroom. Once you do go, and get rid of all the "old stuff" it becomes easier thereafter. Please let me know when you finally begin to see results.
