Does Alli affect the contraceptive pill??

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of starting Alli this week ( I want to loose about 1 stone - 14lb). I am currently taking the contraceptive pill Cilest. Will using Alli affect the absorbtion of my pill?
Dont want to lose weight, then find im pregnant!

Thanks

I am trying to search the answer to the very same question. I'm thinking it must do if you're having any of the side effects.....on site said it can effect if you have a bad side effect within 3 hours of taking the pill. so I guessing thaking the pill at nightbefore bed would be safest bet!

They say to take a multivitamin right before bed so it won't be affected by the Alli. I do the same with my Birth Control and it must be working. I just had my first baby and am trying to lose that weight so I agree I certainly don't want to lose it and find out I'm pregnant again!!)
