I went to the Doc last week, just a regular checkup, and weighed in at 296. My doc suggested that I give Alli a try. He told me that if I got back into my normal workout routine, I would probably lose an extra 50% over my normal weekly loss. I normally eat a fairly healthy and balanced diet, and my weight gains were primarily due to not following my workouts. The Doc told me that my ideal weight should be about 225, and he thought that the Alli would help. I was curious so I didn't start my exercise routine this week, but I did start using the Alli. At the end of one week, I lost two pounds. The oily stools were there, but I basically don't eat that many fatty types of food so it wasn't anything that was a problem. I am going to start my normal workout routine tomorrow, and I am very encouraged by this result in the first week. As heavy as I am at the moment, I can probably lose 4 to 5 pounds a week with just the workout and no Alli. Once I got down to around 265 the weight loss from the workout would slow down to the 2 to 3 pound a week range. The idea that the Alli might increase those early losses to 6 to 7 pounds per week is a serious motivation to get serious about my workouts. Perhaps with a good solid effort on my part, I can reach that 225 lb goal by the Christmas season. I would actually have to use a pillow to look like Santa. I will try to post my results on this forum. That is a nice motivation tool, and perhaps it will help motivate some others if my results are what I think that they will be.

Been a touch over two weeks since I started, and I am down 7 pounds. I feel good without any problems or reactions to Alli that are all that negative. Yea, a bit more gas and hitting the john more often, but nothing that resembles a problem. I know that I am just a beginner, but I am starting to think that this is one hell of a good product.
