Is it safe for me to use?

I weigh about 10st, 9 and am 5"4. In the past year I've gained about 2 stone that I've tried in so many ways to loose (Slimming world, running, going to the gym) but I'm too impatient and am having bother shifting the weight. I'd like to lose 1 stone, is Alli safe for me to use despite my BMI is not over 28?
How long do the effects start to kick in? advice please!
