How do you avoid fatty foods?

How do you avoid fatty foods? I don't want to eat them, but then when I am bored I start wanting to. I can only stop myself so much of the time, then I break down and eat something bad.

It isn't easy. All you can do is try to do better in the future. Look at it this way, if you cut down on fatty foods for two days, then have too many on the thrid day, your average over the three days is still probably lower than it would have been if you hadn't cut back at all. Remember that you are still making progress.
