Introduction Into Something New

So I have been looking into the class schedules for Dance classes. This would be something very new to me. I feel a bit shy to participate in public. Has anyone tried Dance classes for cardio workouts? Does everyone feel shy their first time?

Hi,
I am wondering if you are talking about ballroom dance, hip hop dance, or just an aerobics class. I used to attend Jazzercise classes, and I loved it. I lost weight quickly when I went 3 times a week. I felt silly at first, but everyone is so worried about how they look, that nobody really watches you. You only live once, and it's okay to be silly. Just have a great time, and don't worry about being good yet, it will come.
Enjoy

Well 24 Hour Fitness has a bunch of classes free to their members. I am particularly talking about their Hip/Hop and Salsa Dance sessions. I have heard that these classes aren't only fun, but they burn a lot of calories without you knowing it! Where do you take your classes at?

What gym do you go to?

They have about 30 different classes at 24 Hour Fitness...not just Dance! I tried Kick Boxing and Boot Camp which was a fun way to sweat! I tried DVD's on them before, so I felt I had some experience with them entering the classes.

Plus, along with the free classes, they have spas and saunas. Nice to relax sometimes. Like they say, variety is the spice of life.
