Hello, I am 58, disabled by arthritis and have been putting on weight over the last four years!

I went to see my GP six months ago and got weighed. Over the last six months, I lost a stone and that is making allowance for the four pounds that I put on over Christmas.

At the moment, I feel determined but know from experience how easy it is to fall! So, I am hoping for a boost from Alli which I started today. Only one pill today though as no fat content at all in my dinner.

Nice to find this site and I look forward to getting to know you better.

hya i hope that you find some weight loss help with alli, i have been taking it for a week with similar rheumatoid problems and wanted an alternative to drugs with weight loss to ease pain. im really disapointed to date not lost anything and despite low fat diet i have received no symptoms when i have had something that has had fat in it, just cant understand why

Hiya Skeggs. I have to say that my weight loss this week has been very poor despite being on a fairly good diet. I lost about 3/4 lb if I squint my eyes when looking at the scales. So, no real sign so far of Alli doing very much. I suppose it is early days yet as weight does fluctuate. I am trying to remain positive but am finding it hard just now.

I really hope that something good happens for you regarding the weight loss - and that very soon.
