Do you know any good tricks to help you stay motivated?

I'm going to try writing down everything I eat. It's supposed to give you a sense of accomplishment.

I'm going to try charting things. My weight, my exercise, my calories. Maybe seeing progress in picture form will help. Of course, if I don't make progress it will just make things worse.
