Playing Sports

Do you play any sports? It is good exercise.

I was thinking that less intense sports may be best for people who are not already in shape. I'm thinking of sports like bowling and golf.

I don't think bowling and golf give you much exercise. Have you ever looked at one of those professional bowling shows? Enough said.

Golf would be good if we could play like the pros do, but most places make you use a cart, so you don't get any exercise at all.

I think you are right that they do not give you much exercise, but you will actually stay in better shape by going out and doing something like golf rather than just sitting around watching TV.

That's true. But even with sports that are more active, the start and stop quality of the action isn't as good for you as something where you maintain the same level of activity for a long period.
