going good!

Hi there, thanks for your message. I am doing pretty good on the xenical. It's been 2 months, and I am down 15 lbs. started at 215, and am at the 200 mark! I feel an increase in energy, clothes fit better...are actually loose
I am going to continue for as long as neccesary. my goal weight is 170.
the side effects do go away after taking it for a while, but it is still working. I aim for about 10 grams of fat at each meal. healthy fat, like almonds or avacado, etc.
Let me know how you are doing, and if you have any other questions. it's important to have support

Hi Stella well done on your weight loss so far. I am just starting to take orlistat and am quite confused as to how much fat i should take that will not cause side effects. I have been scared to take tablet if i am going out as i am scared i get a reaction. I am used to doing ww or other low fat diets but they seem to be too low in fat thats why i am totally confused by all of this. I would appreciate any advice you could give me. Thanksyou. Valerie.

Hi Steppingstones.

I have been taking the Alli pills for 2 weeks now and have lost 7lbs. I have to say, I started off feeling very much the same - not wanting to take them if eating out etc. However, I have only experienced the side effects when eating very fatty foods (naughty). As long as you stick to something reasonably low in fat you will be fine. Always carry spare underwear and panty liners help with any 'leaking' (I haven't been unlucky enough to experience this particular side effect). Good luck!
