Working out in the heat?

It has been really hot lately where I live. Do you workout in the heat? The heat makes it very hard for me to get exercise. I do not think Xenical helps give me energy either.

I don't do well in the heat, and it can be dangerous, too. You really have to make sure that you get enough water and don't get heat exhaustion. I've read that you shouldn't exercise if it is over 95 degrees out.

It's much safer to exercise out of the direct sun and at cooler times of the day. Like chocolate said, the heat alone can be dangerous. Adding something like a diet, and xenical on top of that, and maybe increased exercise, all that is asking for trouble.

I will try to drink more water after reading chocolate and summer's recommendations. It is easy to forget to drink enough water.

It is. I have a friend who lives in Phoenix, where dehidration is a big problem because of the humidity. You don't even notice how much water you are losing through perspiration because it instantly evaporates from your body. They have these special containers that you can buy there. They fill them up with water every day, drink from them, and at the end of they day they should be empty. It's a way to make sure you drink the mnimum amount.
